Higher High
A peak that exceeds the previous peak in an uptrend.
Full Definition
A higher high occurs when price reaches a new peak that is higher than the previous peak. It's a key characteristic of an uptrend and indicates buying pressure is pushing prices higher. Consecutive higher highs confirm trend strength.
Example
Price peaks at 1.1000, pulls back, then peaks at 1.1050. The second peak (1.1050) is a higher high, confirming bullish momentum.
