Limit Order
An order to buy or sell at a specific price or better.
Full Definition
A limit order is an instruction to execute a trade at a specified price or better. Buy limit orders are placed below current price; sell limit orders above. Limit orders guarantee your price but not execution - if price doesn't reach your level, the order won't fill. They're used for entries at key levels.
Example
Current price is 1.1050. You place a buy limit at 1.1000, expecting price to pull back to support. If price reaches 1.1000, your order fills automatically.
